[:X25] is a DSP the first product of the new surrounTec™ professional digital series. This monitor is a DSP controlled active nearfield monitor for close listening distances. It’ was developed for a wide field of applications in smaller rooms.

A special feature of the [:X25]ultra-nearfield monitor is the untypical usage of the DSP. It simply replaces the analog Mundorf filters and does not alter the frequency response of the drivers other than taking care of singularities. The impressively low F3 and the high volume stability is archived by modifying the magnet of the 6" Accuton ceramic drivers. Thus also the [:X25] features a constant phase and a very low distortion curve - even at higher volumes - as well as a extremely high resolution for such a small monitor.

Furthermore [:X25] features active room control. The speaker measures its own reponse within the listening environment and adjusts itself fully automatic to realize the best result possible.

Especially when the optional diamond tweeter is ordered [:X25] becomes the ultimate tool in small rooms. Every mix is easily done: classic, club mixes or MP3. This nearfield monitor is pure fun and joy. We promise!
